I use the disk only for audio and movie files and for recording on USB.

Picons are only installed on my box, type VU+ Uno.

I am using your "enigma2-plugin-extensions-hddsleep_1.70_mipsel.ipk".

The disk is succesfully mounted and shown in the Hdd Sleep Configuration display.

If I activate the sleep sda (blue button), the disk stops and restarts after two seconds.

Thanks for your help.

your disk is internal or usb ? Try disable this plugin and use build in sleep in setup of enigma.

The disk is an external USB.

The internal function doesn't work.

That is the reason for my searching.

I have another disk new initialized and the same problems (it's also a Buffalo, type HD-PCU2).

Is it possible that this type doesn't fitted?

What do you think about the patch from daddelfalk?

How can I use it? It isn't a file type .ipk?

I think, that dadelfalk's solution was added into enigma.

It seems, that some plugin or some process still works with disk.

I will try a last experiment.

How can I implement daddelfalk's "Harddisk-USB-Spinoff.patch" and "sdparm_1.06.bb" into engima?

Can you show me the correct way?

What exactly is not working?

in telnet:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/HddSleep/bin/armv7l/hd-idle -h

Do not go to sleep on the hard disk!

What you need to do the telnet?

I checked the file hd-idle, there is the armv7l folder.

Why you should telnet?

Again, please run in telnet this command:

hd-idle -h

Need this answer:

root@vusolo4k:~# hd-idle -h
usage: hd-idle [-t <disk>] [-a <name>] [-i <idle_time>] [-l <logfile>] [-d] [-h]
