I've just translated 3100 lines for Hebrew but I see the German one has 4500 lines.

There are still many lines that weren't in the file... 

Why aren't the files the same?

I've translated from openatv will this be compatible with other images or will I've lines missing?

How to make it universal and complete?

I will also try to add bidi support to enigma, and reverse the interface text direction.

Which files do I need to take a closer look at to achieve that?

Hi,

 

Download the enigma2.pot file that I publish and update your .po file with this new enigma2.pot all the missing entries will then be added to your .po file.

When it is done my advice is also to use the option that delete the unused translations, so your .po file will be clean and up-to-date.

 

I use poedit for all of this.

Partially yes some strings are common but some are different. :-)

 

Perform all your translation within PoEdit it will then update your local translation database, So for exemple first translate OpenPLi, the open up the OpenATV .po file and use the feature to update the file from your local MT. All the strings that are the same will then be automatically translated and you will have to translate the other ones.

 

There is no universal cross-image translation possible, the biggest job is to finish the full translation. Later on if you do it on a regular basis the image share between each other the same patch so strings are often common or quite close.

Can someone please merge the pull requests I made for the blindscan plugin? I generated a new pot with all the latest strings since the last one was made in 2012 and did the greek translation over it!
