But in that case, I hope, as an IT lay person, Flash Expander will be helpful... ;)

Can it work with OpenPLi in DMM boxes? OpenRSI for AZbug didn't...

Just green screens of death...

Would be cool if it did...

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-incurred immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another. This immaturity is self-incurred if its cause is not lack of understanding, but lack of resolution and courage to use it without the guidance of another. The motto of enlightenment is therefore: Sapere aude! Have courage to use your own understanding!

Laziness and cowardice are the reasons why such a large proportion of men, even when nature has long emancipated them from alien guidance..." I. Kant, "Political writings" (1784)

does Open PLi conclude these kernel modules :

kernel-module-block2mtd
kernel-module-loop
kernel-module-unionfs

for all supported STBs ?

if the answer is no would you please add them to Open PLi ?

Why make images larger then necessary with modules who are not used. Lets add them when it's needed otherwise you can add everything and then you go to images up to 200MB

there is a new driver available for dm800 :

http://sources.dream...0120518.tar.bz2

20120518

it's 2.6.18-7.4 so i think we can use it with Open PLi 2.1

also new drivers for vuplus :

http://archive.vuplu...wnload/drivers/

The 20120518 drivers for dm800 don't work on OpenPLi 2.1:
stb_core: version magic '2.6.18-7.4-dm800 mod_unload MIPS32_R1 32BIT gcc-4.6' should be '2.6.18-7.4-dm800 mod_unload MIPS32_R1 32BIT gcc-4.4'

In openembedded the last gcc version is 4.5 and dream is now using gcc4.6 To support new drivers in openpli someone need to add gcc-4.6 and probably serveral patches in openembedded.

Oe-core is the kernel to old so I think this is no option.
