May I ask why no one mentions OSCam Emu in this context? Does it not work with BISS/BBC/etc.?

At my end it works better than YMod. Not in this case - I don't have 27E but...

And what is even more important: does it work in the SHORT mode?

Any information will be appreciated.

Ev0, have you tried SHORT mode?

If not, could you do that? SHORT is much batter than LONG so it would be an advantage. There was a report it works on Duo2 in the SHORT mode, so maybe here as well?

I think that the post you refer to has been rectified some posts later by the same author.

Instead I can confirm you that on Vu+Duo2 it works in LONG mode.

Does it support the AAC-HE audio?

Oh, has it? I must have forgotten.

OK, so as far as I can remember somebody with ET10000 also reported SHORT mode working. I wonder if that was rectified too. :)

@Robinson:

I tried to receive some channels on 27.5W but my positioned dish is too small (50cm / black ultra lnb)

I read the topic and I think its a workaround generating a pmt to fool the box.

Recently we added fetching realpmt to oscam. So now we are able to fetch the crypted PMT out of the dvb stream, if the decryption algo is known we can decrypt the pmt and setup the demuxers correctly without using dvbsnoop / special channellist / python hacking script.

I read the capmt is crypted. Is the "decryption" algo already known?

Can you post some "crypted" pmt for analysis?

theparasol, thanks for your ineterest in this subject.

I'm not an expert here but my understanding is the following:

General issue is that BBC package at 27.5W Intelsat satellite has a CSA-scrambled PMT. Various non-Enigma receivers (such as Technomate 5402HD, Dr. HD, Blade) have no problem with that. Enigma2 receivers need a special script which instructs CAM (by means of CAPMT data) to descramble PMT PID. After descrambled PMT is available on demux, it is received normally by Enigma2.
The script works on Dreamboxes but not on ET9000 and problem seems to be driver-related. Despite CAM sets PMT pid and sends correct control words to CA device, descrambled PMT doesn't appear on demux. When I tell CAM to descramble PMT, it is descrambled as PES data and not section data (E2 cannot access it as it sets section filter). It looks like the drivers do not expect section data to be scrambled.

Of course, the script I am referring to has been written by doublet.

What do you want me to do? Record a sample of 27.5W channel with bbc_pmt script turned off?

ahrm,,, if you say its scrambled using dvb CSA-scrambling, what key/controlword is used to descramble the PMT? I guess that is unknown in public but known to boxes like Technomate 5402HD, Dr. HD and Blade.

From what I see in the script its just fetching correct apid/vpid out of the channel list and making a dummy capmt file that is fed to the softcam.

Another method is that dvbsnoop can also fetch all streams from a channel, even if they are not in the ca pmt. Thats handy since the ca pmt is useless until we know how to decrypt it. So dvbsnoop fetches all video/audio streampids and the script is writing a bogus ca pmt based on that info.

Ok, ca pmt files is written now its the softcam to do its magic:

The softcam is starting up a dummy ecm filter, biss controlword key is received, streampids for video/audio get enabled on ca device and controlword is written to ca device.

And there you go, picture and audio is cleared!

So since now oscam doesnt rely any longer on ca pmt that receiver delivers, we can add decryption of ca pmt too. Making the whole script and dvbsnoop obsolete. Even the usage of special channellist with correct vpid/apid in it.

But to accomplish this we have to analyze the crypted pmt tables the channels have. It could be something easy like the pmt table is scrambled with exact same biss key that is used for decoding the apid/vpid but it could be a static key like "DEADBEAFDEADBEAFDEADBEAF01020304"

But if its CSA scrambled perhaps a modified colibri's CSA decryption tool can get the correct key for us. (think this tool is used too to hack new biss key if key is changed)

My problem: I dont have any crypted PMT table of any of these channels... and I dont know what size of dish is needed to get these channels from my location (if its possible at all!)

So further research from my side is stalled right now.
