I know, you're scared of your own code, so you need others to test it for you... :D (Sad, this, actually...)

Nah, just pulling your leg... It's only your English that's bad... And your choice of companies to support... :D

As if that was ever in question. But the choice you made and keep making (sic!) is questionable!

Funny, this, I thought that you were putting yourself in Archimedes (self-centred, playfully autistic) shoes, that that was the point... :D

Never mind...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Maybe you should read not only the full story before posting but also the Boardrules on OT discussions.

Interesting that you think only you have the right to go OT, with your pearls of wisdom but if I respond you remind me of OT and rules... It tells a story, doesn't it, since I do not do that to you... ;)

Anyway, I am in the other thread as well, and actually trying to help, as much as I humanly can, with my limited "knowledge" and experience. Check it out.

Enough from me...  Ciao! :)

Flashexpander verified working on OpenPLi 3.0 but USB or HDD should be divided into two partitions.
Partitions do with plugins eparted_0.13-r1_all.ipk

2.jpg

After that install plugins enigma2-plugin-extensions-flashexpander_pli_0.1_mipsel.ipk

Now choose the partition of the flash image and start Flashexpander. That's it.

If you read about it a bit, you might find that you also need a SWAP file, EPG shouldn't go to flash memory, neither should picons and other assorted love bites which keep the E2 machines crippled, if you do not respect the logic of not only Flash Expander (for which one partition is enough, strictly speaking) but also the logic of Enigma2, which needs the above stuff to be done carefully (FE in cases of limited Flash memory + SWAP, EPG etc. - apparently, the two should not be mixed!).

Btw, FE should not be put on HDD and neither should EPG, picons and so on... One should only record on HDD! The bits that are accesses all the time should be on a device without moving parts!
