I think I understand that there is the possibility of recording encoded video stream without storing the ecm and then decode the stream in offline. One question: the function offline decoding delay, has to do with all this and how? Thanks.

On my ET9200 with Openpli 4.0, when I start a recording with the option: "scrambled, record ecm" in Type of recording:
- If during the recording I watch the recorded channel, the recording is descrambled which is not the expected result
- If during the recording I watch another channel than the recorded channel, the recording is scrambled, as expected.
Any help?

Yes this is normal behaviour. The descrambling registers are loaded by the softcam for the pids you're watching, which makes them being descrambled for the recording as well. The recording is just a tee of the stream you're watching in this case.

So, no way to make a scrambled recording of a channel I am watching, neither via the Recording menu nor with the instant recording?

No you can't watch a service and at the same time record it scrambled.
