I just updated my image for the first time in months. I use Permanent Timeshift & have it's "Timeshift-Save Action on Zap" option set to "No", but everytime I attempt to change channels ( after PTS start delay) I'm greeted with a dialog box asking whether or not I want to stop the timeshift. Needless to say that is horrible. I searched the website but I got zero results. I didn't follow the 3.0 timeshift thread as the 800 isn't using 3.0 & I really have no desire to read 525 posts on the off chance something related is in there...

Am I missing an option somewhere? Any advice for removing the god awful dialog on channel changes would be GREATLY appreciated...

try "Show warning when timeshift is stopped" there in Setup -Users setting

Thank you, that appears to have solve the problem (setup - system - user interface). I actually skimmed through the options, but I managed to miss that one... Thanx!

I don't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here.

What is the best way to bring up the "stop timeshift?" pop-up menu?

I just change a channel and it comes on but I don't really want to change a channel so how to bring up this pop-up without having to change a channel?
