I reinstalled with reverted patche ... cannot test it yet. But if you do not using EPGRefresh, you can update and test it ...

I think, It is due zapping over more channels and not due EPGRefresh

I suggest we should revert the latest two patches... start the build server and then investigate further....

Sorry I do not have access to my box right now. So I'm not able to troubleshoot.

It also happens when the box is in standby (couple of hours) and you switch backon (going out of standby) to view your default channel. Short green flash on screen and followed by OpenPLi background image. Have epgrefresh on the box and a crontab job getting 1/2 hour interval time from local timeserver (on Fritz!box router). So not certain if this only epgrefresh related. Epgrefresh is not timmed running but manually called from webif.

which softcam do you guys use? (I assume it does not occur when you don't have a softcam running?)

We have two capmt interfaces in e2, one server socket, one client socket. Most likely the client socket interface (the old interface) is causing this, when the same socket object is reused for different connections.

It was caused by an uninitialized filedescriptor.

I pushed the commit again, with socketdesc properly initialized.

No action from our side, apparently a sf issue.

Thanks Erik

Is there any plan for using GitHub as the main git service ? even google code suggests GitHub and the number of people who are migrating to GitHub is growing fast

Just take a look at https://github.com/OpenPLi-GitHub which I created for you today

It includes all your SF git projects + SVN (http://svn.code.sf.net/p/openpli/code/)

Test it browse it download from it, I can give the ownership to you, I hope you start using GitHub soon and let more people contribute to PLi

+1 for either GitHub or BitBucket. Almost anything seems better than the "new" Sourceforge. In fact, the current Sourceforge is even less reliable than Berlios was before it was shutdown.

Maybe someone is interested to add the possibility of using own spinners from /etc/enigma2/spinner.

I'm not a big c++ expert, so maybe this code can be written better.

The simple solution would be to put the spinners into a package (ipk) and make the uninstallable ...

If I understand your patch right, it requires spinners to reside in /etc/enigma2/spinners ...
... if you want to do it that way, there should be a test if spinners exist in /etc/enigma2/spinners and if not, fall back to the "built-in" ones from /usr/somewhat/enigma2/spinners ...

if (!wait[i]) is a test, what is in the original code.

It is necessary to test not only the file exists, but also to it be used as a spinner.

Ah, now I see ...
Too hot in here :)

Would'nt it be great if OpenPLi was using Github?
Then you could simply create a pull request ...
