Hi

 

i try to play mkv with DTS audio on my original DM8000

 

i try dream_dts plugin but i have a error

 

 

Collected errors:

 * satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for dreamdts:

 *      libdca0 *       libdca0 (>= 0.0.5) *    gst-plugin-dvbmediasink (>= 0.10+cvs20101214) *         libgobject-2.0-0 (>= 2.22.4) *  libgmodule-2.0-0 (>= 2.22.4) *  libgthread-2.0-0 (>= 2.22.4) * 

 

is it possible to use DTS_downmix on openpli or another way to play DTS

yes its possible.

I've explained in dutch how i did it here on a DM8000.

Here is a short translation, the files mentioned are attached to the dutch topic.

Install these packages with opkg install, exept the gst plugin, this one needs a force overwrite.

•  enigma2-plugin-extensions-genuinedreambox_3.999+git4542+71142e0-r0_mips32el.ipk
•  libdca0_0.0.5-5-r1-opt1_mips32el.ipk
•  gst-plugin-dvbmediasink_0.10+git121+1f05f89-r6_mips32el.ipk  (use opkg install --force-overwrite)
•  libdlsym0_0.0.1+git5+235cb09-r0_mips32el.ipk
•  dreamdts_1.0-r15_mips32el.ipk

 

Restart enigma and run the genuinedreambox plugin once.

Now DTS passthrough should work to your TV.

These where the packages needed on my 8000 with OpenPli 3.

If you need additional packages, i grabbed them from http://www.dreamboxu...x/2.0.3/dm8000/

hello,

I'd like to listen to my MKV with DTS audio and I followed this guide and after some attemps I managed to install all the listed ipk files (+libffi5_3.0.10-r0_mips32el.ipk which was requested).

I have a clone and the plugin Original Dreambox doesn't work (it displays Security service not running).

I don't know if it is due to the clone or I am missing something, can you help?

There is no OpenPLi for clone boxes, so we can not help you here.
