Ok i will, thanks again. Finally something else about the picons. I am seeing now the picons of the stream channels in the infobar but when i press the up-down button of the remote control i also see the picons in the channellist but not on the upper left side. Compare the two attached photos. Can we also add something to the XPicon.py file?

I don't understand correct, because i have add that line before to the file. What must I do? Something like this:

sname = sname[:pos].rstrip(':').replace(':','_')
sname = sname.split("_http")[0]

sname = sname.split("_http")[0]

Or something like this:

sname = sname[:pos].rstrip(':').replace(':','_')
sname = sname.split("_http")[0]

sname = sname[:pos].rstrip(':').replace(':','_')

sname = sname.split("_http")[0]

Or maybe something else?

Ok, I will look at it later and will respond back to you. I must take backup the 3 files of my receiver and then replace them with the ones you send me, correct? If I don't have one of these files should I place it in the same directory with the others?

I suggest it could be considered to misuse some values that are currently set to 0 and give ip streams unique ids....

rubbish,
It will work

def getPiconName(serviceName):
#remove the path and name fields, and replace ':' by '_'
sname = '_'.join(GetWithAlternative(serviceName).split(':', 10)[:10])
pngname = findPicon(sname)
if not pngname:
fields = sname.split('_', 3)
if len(fields) > 2 and fields[2] != '2': #fallback to 1 for tv services with nonstandard servicetypes
fields[2] = '1'
if len(fields) > 0 and fields[0] == '4097': #fallback to 1 for IPTV streams
fields[0] = '1'
pngname = findPicon('_'.join(fields))
return pngname

Not a nice solution I suppose....

With my idea no "hack" on E2 is required at all.... An no picons need to be changed when a url slightly changed. You only need (and this is important) to give these streams unique numbers regards picons somehow.
