What about ubuntu font? It contains regular, italic, bold... and ubuntu font license looks to be non-restrictive - http://font.ubuntu.com/

I'd say: try it out. I've done some experimentation with fonts some time ago and I must say that not every font looks good on TV.

If we're going to use an alternative font it must:

- be totally free (for example liberation free sans)

- contains glyphs of most languages (not only western)

- look good on TV

- contain glyphs for regular, bold and cursive style

I have been using this liberation sans font on my computer for some time now and I think it's quite good, but I am not sure how it shows on TV.

I'm using Open Sans at the moment, I feel it looks slightly better than Liberation (ymmv ;)).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The rule for changing PR numbers is:

-1- Never increment the PR number manually.
-2- The only exception to rule -1- is that you can set it to "r0" when the PV changes.

Please don't increment PR numbers.
