Hi,

I have no audio on TV (using hdmi) on Iranian English language Channel Press TV HD.

If I stream live signal to PC, using Videolan, I get it perfectly on PC.

ET8000 is up to date, and channels are just re-scanned.

Any Ideas ?

All other channels on this transponder are OK.

Same Problem here with ET 4000 and OpenPLi 4.0

Hispan TV HD on this freqüency, has ACC-HE audio too, and can be heard perfectly.

Same here on et10k. Pid entries in lamedb for Press TV seems to be ok.

and Hispan TV HD use AAC extension:SBR+PS

i think is somting with the codek them use on Press TV HD who reciver not have

i get sound in vlc when i stream to pc

my reciver is VU+ Duo and OpenPli4 update 06.06-2014 and no sound to on Press TV HD

I don't know if they (IRIB) have changed audio codec, but this channel had audio correctly since a few days ago.

It seems that our boxes don't support HE-AACv2@L2 / HE-AAC@L2 / LC@L2 codec.

So, boxes need Drivers update ?

It's certainly driver issue.. Maybe dhwz knows more.

As far as I know Broadcom only supports LOAS and ADTS but not LATM.

If the current broadcom chips are able to decode it, then a driver update is necessary. Right. And then I guess the manufacture needs to buy a licence for it. I'm not very confident that that will happen soon or ever...
