I've refreshed open pli on my solo2 and I use fan control 2 plugin too. But the new version of open pli rotates the fan of the box about 8-10 seconds with high speed I don't know why. Otherwise the fan works about 1000 RPM, but this is very annoying at night.

Have sb got any ideas?

The receiver overheats when it crashes. As long as it runs, there is no overheating. Stop obsessing over the figures.

I think that fancontrol 2 is must have on some receivers like vu+ duo2 so it will be good to integrate plugin in image.

Thanks

If it was mandatory to use such fans in order to keep the box sound, the manufacturer should add a hardware circuit to spin up the fan in case e.g. cpu or harddisk is overheating.

You really dont want to run a certain fan control plugin to replace that job.

I don't undurstend you because with that plugin you can control spin up of the fan in case e.v. cpu or hardisk is overheating. My config for duo2:

Fan tipe: 4Pin

Fan of in idle mode: no

Min speed rpm: 450

Max speed rpm: 1300

Static temp c: 38

End temperature c: 48

I initial voltage: 255

Initial pwm: 5

Now temperature of my box 39c

Current rpm 550 (I can not hear the sound of fan)
