To be honest you still have OpenPLi images because some (community) people still spend time to fix isuess.

 

 

Of course !...But you forgot to tell him something very important....

 

.....people still spend time to fix issues...... AND IT COSTS YOU 0 EURO.

Hello,

 

I am having the same problem of a Second Stage boot loader that fails to start after an upgrade.  OK OK I did not read all the latest warnings, I am used to "opkg update && opkg upgrade" every other week or so.

 

I am currently flashing using an official image and DreamUP (damn that think is slow, 26KB/s approx 29 min left) - from a VirtualBox Windows Image :-)

 

Just a quick question : what would be considered the latest "good" build ?

I will network upgrade when the flash is completed

Hi!
It seems me, that the problem is fixed, right?! For my DM7020 HD there shows 2014/11/25, that hopefully means it will boot OK. I have not tested it yet!

In order to test if it works reinstall second stage! 


opkg install --force-reinstall dreambox-secondstage-dm800se
(Replace dm800se with your model)
Wavefield T90: 0.8W - 1.9E - 4.8E - 13E - 16E - 19.2E - 23.5E - 26E - 33E - 39E - 42E - 45E on EMP Centauri DiseqC 16/1
Unamed: 13E Quattro - 9E Quattro on IKUSI MS-0916

It would be very nice if someone could test this, indeed.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

Hello,

 

I installed the second stage boot loader from official Dreambox web site (v84) (see http://www.stormacq....tloader-update/ for instructions) and then re-flashed Open PLI 20141125 and it works now.

 

I have v84-r19 as shown below

root@dm800se:~# opkg list | grep secondstage

dreambox-secondstage-dm800se - 84-r19.0.0 - Dreambox second stage bootloader  Dreambox second stage bootloader.

 

Is it the same version as the one in OpenPli repository ?
