Hi,

could someone elaborate what this part of code u useful for:

"channelDown": (self.moveToLastOrFirstFile, _("Go to first movie or last item")),
"channelUp": (self.moveToFirstOrFirstFile, _("Go to first movie or top of list")),

Would it be possible to setup the CH-/CH+ in MovieSelection to toggle between the Bookmarks ?

In my opinion this would be more intuitive because  we toggle Bouquets with mentioned buttons already.

I second this. That would be intuitive and useful, as now the buttons have no function.

Same functions as home/end could be added to these keys by only modifying the keymap.xml?

It it is in keymap.xml, as I saw now (MoviePlayerActions) and it works standardly as Home/End

Help :o ! Don't remove "Go to top list", "Go to end list", it's very convenient. We have defined this 2 or 3 years ago :) .

What is the interest of a bookmark? I've tried to use them a couple of years ago but we don't see them. Then I don't understand how to use them.

We seem to be the ones with big lists...

I would never want to loose the 'jump page' functionality. That's very important and consistent in (almost) all screens.
I only supported the idea to add extra functionality (i.e. use CH+/- for bookmarks).

I think JumpPage is not the same as "Go to top list", "Go to end list".

Generally. is it only my setup or are "Go to top list", "Go to end list" functions missbehaving when using different types of sorting ?

That is why I asked the question because I wasn`t sure what to expect.

I have no problem with the type of sort and "Go to top", "Go to last".

Can somebody explain how he uses bookmarks?

Thank you :) .

From live TV screen press PVR (Movieselection) and again PVR.

You get to bookmarks screen divided in two areas (CH-/CH+ to toggle between them)

In the top area one can browse through mount points. Selected mount/folder can be added to bookmarks.

The bottom area is listing the bookmarked paths.

Sorry, I misread the above; CH+/- is indeed assigned to begin/end list.

@Devs

would you consider putting bookmark toggle under userDefinedActions ?

userDefinedActions = {
				'delete': _("Delete"),
				'move': _("Move"),
				'copy': _("Copy"),
				'reset': _("Reset"),
				'tags': _("Tags"),
				'addbookmark': _("Add bookmark"),
				'bookmarks': _("Location"),
				'rename': _("Rename"),
				'gohome': _("Home"),
				'sort': _("Sort"),
				'sortby': _("Sort by"),
				'listtype': _("List type"),
				'preview': _("Preview"),
				'movieoff': _("On end of movie"),
				'movieoff_menu': _("On end of movie (as menu)")
			}

This way people willing to use such a possibility could freely assign it to one of the buttons and toggle quickly between locations stored in config.movielist.videodirs.

I thought these buttons are already reserved  ;)

And I`m not looking for problems anywhere just looking for a possibility to implement the idea that came to my mind.

By the way: Is there a need for 'bookmarks': _("Location") when the same is done by PVR button by default ?

Edit:

but .... if there is a chance to let CH-/CH+ do the job then the `intuition` factor would get another massive boost  :)

"'bookmarks': _("Location")," are not video bookmarks, but: "video bookmarks + all mounted media". It is not same.

No all users using bookmarks, then there are mounted media only.

 I still have not idea, what is your `intuition` factor...  using this buttons is very logical in Movielist long time.
