Hi

I getting error when i playing rtsp in bouquet .

Here is log..

eServiceMP3::playbin uri=rtsp://xxxxxx.sdp

eServiceMP3::starting pipeline

resolved to PLAY

gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

resolved to PLAY

gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

resolved to PLAY

gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

new service started! trying to download cuts!

download failed, no cuesheet interface

RemovePopup, id = ZapError

gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

eServiceMP3::state transition NULL -> READY

eServiceMP3::state transition READY -> PAUSED

dont apply ac3 delay when no video is running!

dont apply pcm delay when no video is running!

gst_element_query_position failed in getPlayPosition

eServiceMP3::m_errorInfo.missing_codec = audio/x-alaw

Gstreamer error: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in. (12) from decodebin27

I know nothing about this, but maybe you can start by checking what is installed with the command opkg in telnet?

root@vuduo2:~# opkg list|grep alaw

gst-plugins-good-alaw - 0.10.31.1+git0+7768342230-r9.8 - GStreamer plugin for alaw GStreamer plugin for alaw

gst-plugins-good-alaw-dev - 0.10.31.1+git0+7768342230-r9.8 - GStreamer plugin for alaw (development files) GStreamer plugin for alaw

opkg list-installed|grep alaw will show if above plugins are installed.

If you need to install the plugins then type opkg install gst-plugins-good-alaw

Just guessing though..

Install it
opkg install gst-plugins-good-alaw

Xtrend ET-9200, ET-8000, ET-10000, OpenPliPC on Ubuntu 12.04

i already installed this plugin ( opkg install gst-plugins-good-alaw ) thats why i getting above result.

Issue is video is showning but audio not coming.

How i can solve.?

opkg list | grep alaw
This shows you the available packages. They can be installed, but also cannot be installed.
opkg list-installed
Show you installed packages.

Nevertheless what does e2 log now after installing the plugin say?

Xtrend ET-9200, ET-8000, ET-10000, OpenPliPC on Ubuntu 12.04

Everything is already clearly explained, the command list show you the package in the feed but not yet installed on your system so please do:

opkg update
opkg install gst-plugins-good-alaw

while list-installed show you the pachages really installed.

We need to know which audio codec is used. Then we can maybe help. Does vlc show codec info?

Type Audio

Codec : PCM ALAW ( alaw )

Sample rate :8000 Hz

I have installed gstreamer plugin and tested with these test files:

All alaw test files are working properly on my xtrend box.

It might be problem with box or bug in gstreamer when alaw and rtsp is used...

I think its not reading header data correctly from stream.I also see on other forums which have same issue.
