Hi,

 

since a few days my ET4000 with OpenPLI 4 keeps crashing.

I can force the crash by hitting the INFO button on the remote.

 

First I thought it was the CoolTVGuide which was causing this.

When I tried to deinstall CoolTVGuide via the plugins menu it did also crash.

So to remove CoolTVGuide I had to use OPKG.

 

But it keeps crashing anyway.

 

Does anyone have an idea?

Kan de log hier niet zo duidelijk lezen, maar vind wel heel veel referenties naar PicturePlayer die niet meer ondersteund wordt.. Misschien handig om de doos eens fris te flashen?

HI,

 

I did flash the ET4000 just 2 weeks ago and restored my settings. 

Everything was working fine until a few days ago.

 

I could remove picture player and see what happens.

Reflash and don't install plugins like "KINOde" (which is now causing the crash) and coolTV.

thanks for the advise, I will try this.

Note that the box is a low-end box (although working excellent). It does not have a lot of RAM. So try to install only the bare neccessities. CoolTV and KINOde require a lot of RAM when working downloading...

Okay, I`ll try to as suggested tonight and flash a new image and restore the settings.
