Hello I have slight problem with VU zero running latest Open Pli. Any ideas if realtek RTL188S usb dongle is supported, It shows on wlan menu but it wont work, even the led doesnt show up. It works perfectly on my DM800 running Open Pli. Any suggestions?

the same problem, VU + WIFI-300MBPS-dongle does not work on zero, but it works for 800se

Are you using WEP encryption, maybe it no longer is supported for better security?
Try to change to WPA or WPA2 encryption instead.

This has been mentioned before. The newer linux kernels that VU+ use have a bug in the WPA handling. VU+ will have to fix this (either patch it, or ship a still newer kernel).

See the commit logs. I don't think so. Just use WPA(1) with CCMP encryption, the strength is equal to WPA2.
