BIG upgrade tomorrow (advice: Reflash)

My advise: Reflash, it's much quicker than running through the upgrades.

Perhaps we should add some logic in the upgrade code of the menu in enigma2...
If users hit upgrade fetch a file flash.txt or whatever. If their local revision is lower than the version in that flash.txt just be a very bad donkey box and dont upgrade how many times you retry, instead post something like: you cant upgrade to lastest version: you have to reflash your box!

The message is a generic warning, it is not connected to the software on the box. We can not remotely alter your box to make it show a message.
I think I can assume that you can remember flashing 5 minutes ago, and that this message does not apply to you?

You get this until we switch it off, if you flashed today, you're ok and you can ignore it, if you haven't, you're not running OpenPLi4.

There is no problem.
I don't understand the advice to make full reflash...
Everything is OK..
Only observation is one have to wait untill it's all done, especially when the winter picture appears.
Il is possible to believe the process had crashed..
Just wait a couple of minutes..
The ET-6000 worked flowless after the update...

Oh, an update. We need updates, updates, updates. Why? My system runs. I make no update again. You make more updates then Microsoft with Windows.

Provided you have reflashed with the new C linguage as advised before..

I confirm that there isn't any trouble doing the update without a full reflash. Everthing works fine. As guirigui mentioned you have only to wait a little bit when the winter picture appears and be patient. After a little time the box reboots and everything works fine even on Xtrend ET-9200

Why don't people READ?
You were advised to flash in order not to block your own IP (we auto-block when too many downloads happen from one IP), and because our download mirrors can't handle 300 downloads simultaneously from all OpenPLi4 users.
