I think (again) the adjustments to incorporate these features in our own timeshift, shouldn't be that hard, now simply find someone who has the skills, the time and the motivation ;)

Hi,

I have an et9000 whith openpli 4.0.

After flashing the latest version lots of plugins don't work any longer, it's realy bad!

My arch.conf looks like this - updated today:

arch all 1
arch any 6
arch noarch 11
arch mips32el 16
arch vuduo2 21
arch mipsel 26

Trying to install PTS results in following message:

Attached File  IMG_20150221_145906.jpg   113.58KB   4 downloads

What does it mean and what can I do?

Thanks for your help!!

Yes, I try it several times - always the same result.

It makes no different whether I use the wizzard or download the IPK-file and install it manuell.

Beside your nice words, I don't have any solution to my problem.

I see that pr498te solved the problem by going back to an older image. Should I do so?

So, I keep on asking if someone can give me a solution (without beeing rude if possible)

Hello again, especially to pr498te. The solution is mentionned above, just add a line  "arch mipsel 26" in the file located there: etc/opkg/arch.conf

It works.

Now, I just wonder why this file is not updated with daily updates. Anyway, thank you for the support in this forum.

Ah, so glad you found it yourself.
besides that your question was answered 3 posts before your question, it was also discussed in about 10 other threads on this board (if not more).

But now you see what a little search and reading can do, nice addition to editing files is it not?
So why call it rude?

@ pr498te

- You should first use AutoBackup to save your config.

- Then flash your box with the latest version

- Then complete arch.conf as mentionned above

Finaly, this should be OK...

@ nietgiftig

Do you have an idea why the arch.conf file has to be adapted manually just after a main update (with USB flash) when we have get 25 updates everyday?

Thanks

I did a search for you and look what I found!!

http://forums.openpl...ndpost&p=476996

What is said there is not my opinion, but from the Openpli team, and they are "the boss" here

But then again, it's called OpenPli Beta and nobody forces you to update.

I hope you did not pay to much for the OpenPli software if you are not satisfied with it.

But there you go again, keep trying to let other people do searching for you. :(

This was my last search for you, maybe some others will filll the gap.

is there a way to add "arch mipsel 26" by default in the arch.conf file?

I am building my own image and feedserver, wich is going very nice (thanks to the perfect manual from this board), but in order to download and install items like "CCcaminfo", "Permanenttimeshift" and "uitzendinggemist" i have to manualy add the extra rule in the arch.conf. I am looking around in "/openpli-oe-core/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-devtools/opkg/opkg/" but i do not know where to add or tweak the right file.

btw, it is for the Mutant HD500C

Thanks up front.
