Why use port 8081, when transcoding is configured to use 8002 or 8003?

You're right.
I changed the ports in the file /etc/enigma2/streamproxy.conf
Now it is all right.

Thank you :)

Best regards,
julek

Hello,

I recently tried to change the settings from the transcoding plugin and now I the transcoded stream does not work anymore.

I have a Vu+ Duo 2 on latest OpenPli 4.

I looked in the etc/enigma2/streamproxy.conf file and everything seemed to be normal. I manually set the values to what it was originally but it won't work anymore.

listen = 8002:transcode
listen = 8003:transcode
size = 576p
bitrate = 1000
profile = baseline
level = 3.1
bframes = 0

It used to work like a charm so I think changing the values in the plugin broke the transcoding function.

I know it would be solved with a fresh install but I would like to be able to use this plugin!

bitrate 1000 seems a bit low?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Login to the receiver using telnet or ssh, stop the streamproxy using killall streamproxy, then start it in the foreground using streamproxy -f, observe the messages, try starting a transcoding session and also observe the messages.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.
