Hi,

A few weeks ago, I've done a flash and I used the autobackup plugin. I tried also to install the new rtl2832 driver plugin but there was a problem and the box was very very slow. It took several seconds to execute any key press.

Then I did again the flash, I installed again the forgotten plugin, the softcam, and the rtl2832 driver plugin (TNT USB driver). It was better but slower than previously. Is there a problem with the big update? With the "old" parameters autobackup keeps? With the rtl2832 driver plugin (previously, I downloaded only the kernel-module-dvb-usb-rtl2832 which is lighter)?

While I use the autobackup plugin, it doesn't install any more my favourite channel lists. There are 2 of my 4 lists and a lot of strange lists. Then I used Dreamboxedit to load my favourite lists.

What can I do?

Thank you :) .

Does somebody can say if he haves the same problem with an "old" box as my Xtrend ET9200? If I'm the only one, I can suspect the update had a problem during the installation.

Thank you :) .

Ok, no slow functioning noticed for you. Can a Pli Core member say me if I have to do a flash and enter all the parameters or if I can use Autobackup or only system backup?

And for Cobus, I've done 2 flash. The last one 12 days ago.

Autobackup should be fine. Just don't restore any plugins, usually a plugin is to blame for this kind of behaviour.

MiLo, Autobackup allows to restore automatically all the previous plugins. Then if there is a problem with one of them, it will download it.

And I have only EPG plugins (xmltvimport, xmltvimport-rytec and epgsearch), Oscam, Cccam, dreamexplorer (it's a file manager), moviecut, movieretitle (the standard one changes only the name of the movie and not the name of the ts file), autobackup, backupsuite, cutlisteditor, shootyourscreen (to do a screen copy).

Perhaps there is a problem with the rtl2832 plugin? The first time I try to install it, the box crashed and worked very very slow.

Perhaps with the Kerni-HD skin?

SatKiekerd, what is the significance of "No issues with ET9200 here"? It means there is no problem known on ET9200?

Ok Pr2 ;) .

Thank you :) .

after a recent flash (and restore) there are no issues with my 9k. No 'slowing down' or whatever.

Yes we are speaking English here and I continue in English because it's not very well admitted to write in French. And sorry, I'm not very easy in English, then I've not understood if issue was the same thing as problem. When I use a translator, it says that issue is a question and other words which have no meaning in this context.

Oh, no problem with ET9x00. Thank you. But I don't know what I can do to get it faster as it was further. I've already done new flashs.

An issue is a problem in english (an issue is not a solution, you misunderstood the word issue).

My dictionary says: "issue: something that people are talking about, thinking about, etc. : an important subject or topic".

So "issue" is not equal to "problem", an issue is something that needs to be looked at and possibily discussed. It might turn out to be a problem that needs fixing, but it may also be something small and easily corrected, or not an issue at all.

Since you are the only one with this "problem", and no one knows what the "problem" with your box is, fixing it might be a challenge.

I can only suggest flashing it without any backup or autoinstall of plugins. And see what it does. If it works ok, then add your plugins one by one. That should allow you to pinpoint the plugin that is causing the problem.

Ok but first, I am going to install an old backup with which I had no problems. I 'll can see if There is no more problems.

And after, I can restore the actual version, delete all the plugins, do an Autobackup. So I will keep all my settings when I'll do a new flash.

Thank you.

You have to be careful. Flashing without plugins is not the same as flashing with a backup and then removing the installed plugins.

Quite a few plugins, especially third party ones or ones that overwrite system files, don't clean up properly when removed.
