Finally got to run my usb dvb-t but when I connect other usb stick ( for picons and epg ) and reboot, the usb dvb-t stops working.

When I connect the usb dvb-t only with dsmeg I get:

“dmesg | grep usb

usbcore: registered new interface driver zd1201

__clk_enable: usb [1]

usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage

usbcore: registered new interface driver usbhid

usbhid: USB HID core driver

usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-brcm

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: found a 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' in cold state

usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_af9015

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-af9015.fw'

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: found a 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' in warm state

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer

usb 1-1: DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 0 (Afatech AF9013)...

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' successfully initialized and connected”

but when I connect the usb stick and restart, the usb dvb-t stops working and this is what I get:

“dmesg | grep usb

__clk_enable: usb [1]

usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage

usbcore: registered new interface driver usbhid

usbhid: USB HID core driver

usb 1-2: new high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-brcm

scsi2 : usb-storage 1-2:1.0

usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-brcm

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_af9015: command failed=170

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' error while loading driver (-5)

usb 1-1: dvb_usb_v2: 'AverMedia AVerTV Volar Black HD (A850)' successfully deinitialized and disconnected

usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_af9015”

any help?

thx

Maybe there is a insuficient power to the USB.

Try with USB hub with power supply.

Something like this 209px-K%C3%B6nig_7-port_USB2.0_Hub,_akti

Thanks for your answer , but I do not think that. Before the big upgrade of December had them working properly

Personaly I have DM800SE and 500HD both with USB DVB-T and USB HDD (on 500HD) + USB flash for picons and swap.

All working fine here.
