Flash may be necessary, but a reboot may already be sufficient.
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands

already tried rebooting the box before i posted so that didn't work for me
just reflashed todays image and all seems well again

upgrade went fine but the player stopped working - after re-flash all is back to "normal"
the spinner shows up and freezes the player for a while at every time I start/stop/pause/play/jump forward - I can live with it but its annoying
any plans about that?

All files or just certain files? Some files confuse gstreamer, it has always been that way.

With VU+ Ultimo: last update broke the Media Player. After flashing, seems to be OK.

Plugin is useless. Hardware/drivers must support the codec which is most likely not the case. Only with the plugin you can decode in software. But the box is too slow for that.

Its a pity there are no archive downloads in OpenPli, once you update, you can`t go back, and backup doesn`t always help, a bit like updating iphone..

1 thing that you could easy do yourself is make a backup, never heard from Backupsuite plugin?
