Just flash it.

I split your question and moved it to the English section.

The Autobackup files can't be flashed directly. This is automatically done after reïnstalling a fresh OpenPli 4.0 flash. Please note that this may take some time! So don't despair if boot-up takes considerably longer than normal. This is a one time delay. Next reboots perform normally.

To flash anew, get a new OpenPli.nfi file for your box. Be careful to select the correct file for your box..

There is no Openpli 4.0 for the DM800HD.... as the drivers of this box depend on ancient 2.18 kernel drivers....

Because they use a solution available from OE-A.

OE-A also "freezed" dm800 build to 2.3 (or 2.2) cause newer glibc doesn't support ancient kernel 2.6.18.

OpenPLi choose not to support that image with a ton of hacks. Don't blaim OpenPLi, blaim the manufacturer that abandoned users.

Just a hint, you might use that image, flash from webif BUT after flash do not restart and flash second stage and you are ready to go, but don't expect support...

Buy a newer box that OpenPLi supports ;)

After nearly two years of usage my original dm800hd pvr that costs me almost 500 euros was stated end-of-life by dream multimedia GmbH.

So no more fresh images. Even worse: dream chose to go closed-source and even got some plugin authors to change their license and implement dreambox checks so their popular plugins could only run on original dreamboxes.

Besides this expansive box had a serious hardware flaw: if you shutdown the box you couldnt power it up again without decharging the poweradapter completly by removing it from the mains!

After owning 3 very expensive original dreamboxes (dm7020, dm600pvr, dm800hd pvr all three overpriced and all three equipped with hardware flaws!) I decided to never ever buy a dreambox again Instead I bought a cheaep XP1000, and I must say its the first box I can really enjoy!

I do enjoy xp1000 and have now 3 of these up and running. 2 for viewing, 1 for repetitive daily recording. 3 x times as OSCam sever (even instand by) and client to each other (home sharing: 6 internal card reader). Energy friendly (4.5 to 7 watt).

I use the xp1000 as a streaming client (if only they made one without a tuner, for 99 euro or so), of a central ET10K, works like a charm.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
