Recently I seem unable to watch on my XP1000 single tuner box multiple encrypted streams on the same transponder.

I suspect this commit has something to do with it: http://sourceforge.n...262ad1d2a544fc/

Or possible this one? http://sourceforge.n...c96737c39f4b3b/

Can someone confirm this behaviour on single tuner boxes?

Tnx for response!

Flashed old image from 26-03-2015 -> same behaviour!

Flashed latest image from 19-04-2015 without use of autobackup files -> streaming multiple encrypted channels from same transponder works again.

The issue was obvious bad config on my box. Comparing things seems somehow this line sneaked in /etc/enigma2/setting:

config.ci.0.canDescrambleMultipleServices=no

Must be a leftover from my testing with CI+ code with my HD+ CI module

Problem solved :)

Are you using a CI module? Or did you just find out that this setting has an unexpected effect on softcam descrambling?

I did use a CI+ module recently to test some sources that claim to add CI+ support.

Seems this parameter was left behind without me noticing it.

And yes, it does cause this single stream only decoding effect on softcam handling since I removed the CI module and all additional code I installed for testing.

But forgot to remove this parameter.

That's weird, that setting is not supposed to have an effect on softcam descrambling.

In fact, I believe the default setting is 'auto', so multi-channel is not enabled with a clean install...

Can you confirm that the problem re-appears (and disappears) when you re-adjust this config item, now with your clean install?

It's not even a global setting, you have this setting for each of the CI modules, it should only work for that particular CI module.

Looking at the code, it's only used for CAPMT distribution to CI slots, nothing else.

Seems I jumped to conclusions :)

You are right, "config.ci.0.canDescrambleMultipleServices=no" was not the problem!

I did some more comparing and reproduced the issues I had while adding this setting again: "config.streaming.descramble=false"

Makes perfectly sense: another PICNIC problem
