PAU hack installed.
Or buy other box. Sounds strange, but the manufacturer sells the box without recording functionality. There are several threads here in the forum. Search for zero and recording.
Hi mate , what is PAU ? I try to find way why it is not record , is this openpli image , or this manufacturer box not recording,

as mentioned, search for it. It has been discussed often enough.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Hi WanWizard ,we manage to record by installing pau, are fine record & play back etc, but time shift wont work , do you think we cannot do anything else about time shift ? please let me know

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

Hi Frenske, thanx a lot for respond , what kind of mistake i don , brand new box genuine , latest image , brand new hdd, just flash it , this is all , i got VU+DUO2 works fine ,records and time shift,this is all where to make mistake
, anyway , i install blackhole and works fine ,rec and time shift , but i reflash again Openpli and still use it now , i will try again ,

Please everybody stop saying VuZero and Vusolo are zapper, I have the two of them, and I was using VTI Image since the beginning (some years ago) and never got problem to record (on internal HDD or usb hdd), but since I gone on OPENPLI I can't record any movie, my record file are 0ko...
Please fix this...

That is because the VTI includes the PAU plugin that works around the manufacturers restriction by default.
We don't. The boxes are sold as zappers. without PVR capability, and without the appropriate tax on recording devices paid in certain countries. If you want to work around that, you can do that yourself.

OpenPLi doesnt support this workaround that VTi has.

It's simply true though.
