The point is, and I repeat this especially for Rob, that however, whatever, etc. in the end it's a stream that's routed directly from the tuner into the decoder and the decoder triggers the scaler, so there is not a single line of enigma code in-between, so it's futile to discuss the matter, because without altering hardware or drivers, the behaviour cannot be influenced.

Thanks for the special treatment, but I don't think I ever believed or said anything else.
I only said that in this case there is no hardware/driver issue, as the box does exactly what it's supposed to do (namely present a 16:9 service in a 16:9 ratio).
