Hello, I have a problem with the trash, my file is not called "movie" but "Films" and every time I restart my dreambox I have to delete the folder "movie" and disable the Trash and the activate for it to work normally!
There must be a bug somewhere!
Anyone has a solution?

This is not a real problem or bug. The trash is by default on /hdd/movies/.Trash by design....

Maybe some plugin is re-creating that "movie" directory? Maybe a recording set up to record there? It will create non-existing directories when starting a recording.

The default trashcan location is in the "movie" path of the current mount point, if and only if such a directory already exists. Otherwise, the trashcan will be located in the root of the media.

I just tested this by renaming my movie directory to Films, shut down the box and restarted it. No "movie" path created. Deleted a recording, and it was neatly placed in /media/hdd/.Trash where it belongs.

You don't by any chance "reboot" by pulling the power plug, do you?

Normally trash is at the root of the hard disk, when I restart the dreambox and I delete a file it is placed in the /movie/trash/ when it should be placed in /trash/ if I do not restart dreambox I have not the problem.
I am French, it can come from the translation?

I think you are right... But.....

It was from the beginning in movie/trash and it is very hard to change.... Think about plugins that do expect it there.... When you correct it then all thise plugins should also follow...

No, the trash is ONLY on "/media/hdd/movies/.Trash" if that "movie" directory already exists. The trashcan code will not create it. Look at the source code (it's right at the top of Trashcan.py).
