All that plays is the audio but no video.

Both BH and Vix play this perfectly. Here's my log.

Just been informed that the above does play using Pli on the duo2

I'm just using a Solo gen 1 so perhaps this image has missing libs compared to the duo 2 ?

Hi,

This video uses QPel, AFAIK Solo gen 1 has no HW support for it.

Then it's no "real" DIVX at least, DIVX forbids it. All HD enigma receivers can play DIVX. I never understand, either use real DIVX (or even mpeg2) and it can be played universally, or use a proper modern codec like h264 that also plays universally (most h264 hardware can play high profile, even the original dm800!). Why go fiddling and make it all incompatible.

Both BH and Vix play this perfectly.

On the same Solo box?

If so, then maybe it is not hardware issue as mx3L suggests?

Correct, if it's working on the same box with different images then it's not HW issue.

Which exact images/versions? Do they use gstreamer 1.x by any chance?

No not on the same box.

Sorry for the confusion there in my post, the ViX and BH images were loaded on a solo2 and a solo4k

Thanks for the info regarding my box not supporting this video type as ive been trying for hours to spot any differences in the libs used in the images on the boxes that will play this video.

I need a new box simple as,its getting way too old now lol

Ian.

Yes it seems that all VU+ Gen 1 boxes have the same issue be it the Solo,Duo,or Uno

None can play this video type regardless of the image used.

All 3 VU+ Gen 1 boxes have now been tested and all failed to play it, but all VU+ Gen 2 boxes are fine and play it perfectly.
