Hi, I realize support for the wetek box is very new, but just wondering if the following packages will make their way to the feeds:

- kernel-module-dvb-usb-gp8psk

- enigma2-plugin-softcams-cccam

Thanks

cccam is impossible, that is a MIPSEL-only binary, and the WeTek has an ARM processor. The other one is only possible if all source is available, and that source is compatible with the platform.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

If the kernel that the WeTek uses has support for this device, you might ask the manufacturer to enable it in the kernel config.

It looks like the kernel module for gp8psk is now installable, but enigma2 does not recognize it as a tuner:

It does not seem to register vtuner interface. Does wetek support usb dvb -> vtuner pooling ?

Maybe it doesn't have vtuner support in their drivers...

So I assume this is something that has to be taken care of on the Wetek side of things and not in OpenPLi?

Didn't want to make a new topic for this,

is it possible to pause live tv on the openpli image?  i've read permanenttimeshift plugin makes this possible, but it doesn't install

Yes, just press the pause button. You don't need to install anything, timeshift is built-in. You do need to device to record to (disk, stick), and you do need to configure the timeshift path.
