What to to when it stops booting on the first screen, and not reaching the point where it's possible to instal a new image then?

How about flashing an image from an earlier date. Try the image of April 29. That will work as this one is prior the BSP (driver) update.

No, you must learn how to install new img.

You need to download img from 29/4. Vu+ solo 4K

  1. Unzip compressed file.
  2. Copy the folder to a USB Pen Drive.
  3. Power off or reboot the receiver with the mains switch on the rear. Connect USB Pen Drive.
  4. Power on receiver with the mains switch on the rear.
  5. Follow message in front display and press the power button on the front panel.
  6. Flashing of the image will start
  7. Booting will start automatically once the flashing process has completed
  8.

Nobody has said the issue was fixed. There isn't a warning displayed for nothing.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I have upgraded Enigmatuners for years, so I know how to do it. But the receiver will not boot, therefore it's impossible to upgrade the image! It freezes as soon as it's turned on.

It seems so hard to read properly.
Just flash an image prior to April 30 and the box will run again as before.

And you apparently ignored the warnings you got prior to the actual update.

There's a restored image from the 6th of March available for download that works fine. Just don't update after flashing until the problem is fixed.
