Hello,

I bought a new xtrend et-7500 and installed latest openpli 4 but ir remote buttons of power and mute are not working.
I think at least power button was working in original image

Can some developer please review it??

Thanks and regards

Also,
My et-10000 in Menu > Setup > System > Select Input Device
I can select the remote control type.

My et-7500 does not have this option
Only have "dreambox remote control (native)" as an option.

Exactly what remote control are you using (e.g. post a picture)? There are several models for ET and not all of them are completely interchangeable.

I am using the original et-7500 remote control, this one

Why the et-7500 do not have the option to slect the remote control type? At least I could try other remotes I have

Alternative RC support has to be build into the drivers, if it isn't there, we can't add it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I had a similar problem when I tried to use another remote, such as used for the et9500 IIRC. But then, I also remember having had this problem when the batteries ran out.

Have you anyway controlled the batteries?  If you use the batteries received with the STB I really suggest that you check them.

I also experience with Xtrend that when the batteries run out some function of the RCU works fine while other starts to have trouble.
