On VU+ Solo 4k the SSH daemon / dropbear does not start.

root@vusolo4k:/etc# /etc/init.d/dropbear start
Starting Dropbear SSH server: Segmentation fault

root@vusolo4k:/etc/init.d# /usr/sbin/dropbearmulti
Segmentation fault

Even after reinstalling it does not work

root@vusolo4k:/etc/init.d# opkg remove dropbear --force-remove
Removing package dropbear from root...
Stopping Dropbear SSH server: no /usr/sbin/dropbear found; none killed
update-alternatives: removing /usr/bin/scp as no more alternatives exist for it

I've copied over the dropbearmulti binary from original OpenPLi image and now it works

root@vusolo4k:/usr/sbin# /etc/init.d/dropbear start

As you can see the binary is much larger now

root@vusolo4k:/usr/sbin# ls -la dropbearmulti*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 209752 Feb 3 23:41 dropbearmulti
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 86136 May 5 01:32 dropbearmulti.bak

Upx compression... again for those 64MB drrambox models.
Maybe it causes problems on arm, now that I think of it.
I'll disable it on arm for the next release.

But this Iptv List Updater is still working great, many of the channels are still working and I think someone is updating the channels too.

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/

Although they are *unofficial* OpenPli images, they are meant for original boxes only!!
Ferrari boxes are the hardest to update as not many developers support them. The "official" 8f8d8.com site is gone for over a year now... Unless MastaG is kind enough to build one for you, you are on your own now. This forum does not allow discussions which are clone related...

I tried accordingly but still can’t install. I also downloaded a version from dreamelite and installed, it seem successful at first, but after restart it is not inside plugin. Wonder why?

That's the way it worked for me. So you must doing something wrong.
Did you fully unpack the ipk file? (.ipk and data.tar)  You only need folder "IPTV-List-Updater" from ipk file.
After placing folder in right location, restart enigma2.

you can install an .ipk manually, copy it into /tmp, execute
ar -x file.ipk
you´ll get two files
control.tar.gz --> trash, you don´t need it
data.tar.gz
you must unpack it in root with
tar -xzf data.tar.gz -C /
restart enigma2
you don´t need any external tools
