Hi Everyone

First of all, I go into my router setting (Asus Rt-Ac56u router Ip address), there is a WOL feature in network tools and select the Mac address of xTrend to wake it up but unsuccessful. I had installed the Wol plugin but still cannot wake up the set during deep sleep. What should I do to wake it up to standby mode?

Thanks very much!

The WoL-plugin is for sending a WoL-package, not for receiving one.

In the GUI of the box (adapter) you have to enable WoL.

Hi,

afaik the only box with WOL is the Duo2. Are you sure that the 10K also can be waked up by LAN?

ciao

Et10k doesn't support WOL. But there are other boxes which support WOL like et8500 and et7x00.

Hi Guys, thanks very much for the info.

Well, I thought this model has got everything, which is the best of all receivers. Very disappointedly, I was wrong.

Wondering which receiver is actually the best that got all feature?

Don't rely on the WOL function of the et10k, really.

Hi Erik

It is helpful when I am outside and wanted to stream movie to watch. Usually I would like to put it to deep sleep so when I need it, I can wake it up by login to my home router.

I don't question your purpose of it, why should I?

I just say, with the et10k, don't rely on it to work properly.
