the latest PLi updates are from the beginning of June..
Whether there is a hope to get it to the line? Our users are interested in the information.

We're internally testing... But there are still some "user" issues... Like a samba config file coming fromautorestore that is not compatible and other samba issue...

OK, some observations.
Solo4K enigma2 can't play the UHD video, what is compressed with H264. At the same time, 1080 resolution files it plays, when it is compressed with H264. If the first convert to H265, then it handles that. Can you fix it? I can send sample(s) *.mp4. All UHD TV-s (Samsung, Sony) can do it nicely, maybe you can fold this little failure for Solo4K enigma2?
As from SAT-TV the broadcasts come only with H265, then apparantly based on this? And some codec for H264 is missing or other such thing?
One concern with YouTube- the plugin(s) plays 4K videos but with Solo4K it plays still with 720p
With that plugin http://forums.openpl.../38512-youtube/
we can set the resolution to 4K, but it still plays with 720p. It seems that the makers don't have 4K devices for testing? There's no reason to play the 4K stuff/material with 4K box with 720p resolution!
TV-s with in built Apps can do it with No problem.
Possible that OpenPLi 5 solves this things?

I've indeed heard that h264 is not supported (it is of course in hardware, otherwise no HD-services could be played).

Hi,
it is hardware or driver related only VU can fix. Solo4K is not able to display UHD videos with h264 codec.

The builds of the solo4k were failing due to a completely unrelated problem. We fixed that last week and now there are fresh solo4k images and feeds.

In general, please just report that a certain build isn't actual (when for more than a week) and don't make assumptions

One more thing discovered: recording UHD broadcast with
vusolo4k + PLiwill give GSOD at the moment.

One specific channel or all of them?
If you have a GSOD you will also have an error log

I personally don't have vusolo4k, I just reported the issue, what a friend complained me. He complained also, that this problem does not occur in the work of the other teams. You will probably confirm that this error is not currently presented? I know that the error should be in the log but unfortunately I do not have able to get it. Generally, if the thing works, let it be.
