Games plugins don't start, why?

darko's Photo darko 10 Aug 2009

Hi people, I go in the download panel of Pli Menu, download the games I see there and noone starts!! (apart sudoku) it says: libfx2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
Is this the sudoku-mafia lobby who wants us to play only sudoku and anything else...??
Apart kidding, what should I do to solve this issue?
Please... I use PLI for months now, and NEVER overcame this problem :)

Is there a file libfx2.so in /lib or in /lib/tuxbox/plugins?

No, there isn't that file, and my installation is very fresh!
How could it be?
I installed latest pli through serial port and dreamup (the generic one).
But I suppose that being those games in the download section of the official pli-panel, those are tested, and if they are tested they should work? At any case if you know a solution or where to find this file I would be glad to hear!
I want to play TETRIS during commercials!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D

I don't have a solution now, but I will make a bugreport for it.
For now, download this file and store it in /var/lib. Please let me know if it works.

Hopefully this one works, it has to be years old if there's been any changes...

libfx2.so hasn't been changed for ages ;)
But I thought that library was already in the image (in /lib).
