Howdy all !
quick question about openpli updating:
A few days ago I installed a image from the nightly snapshot.
Is it now sufficient to do a "Software Update" from within the box, or
do I have to get an new image for the flash?

What box are you referring to?
EDIT: I found out that you own a DM8000.
In that case you can update it from within the image.

Yeah, sorry, DM8000.
So doing the software updates, will install all updated packages in the flash, and is equivalent to he latest image ?

Yes, easy isn't it

Just tried this myself this morning on my Dreambox 8000 - and it worked like a charm. It took a few minutes to complete - and all it said was: "44 packages upgraded" :-). I rebooted and things seemed to work great. Nice little change with the LCD screen as well. Great work guys.
