hello to all ...want to install latest mgcamd 1.35 i do tar.gz file in /tmp then reboot dm but the mgcamd dosent show on the screen!!
why? must be doing something wrong please help....
i searched all dreambox files by ftp.... and cant find mgcamd...the var space has gone from 40% to 60!...and cant see mgcamd installed!!
please help!!

forums help ...in all ways ...not imply that with a thread (dont spend all day on the net....)/
if my way of writing is bad thats not the way to answer/ thanks for your time to copy paste the thread....

You have to do a manual install after copying the file to /tmp on your dreambox.
But normally this is not needed.
The easiest way is to go to the plugins menu on your dreambox, click on 'download plugins', open "softcams' and pick the cam you want to install. Then follow on TV instructions and viola!!
