Hi guys, first off congrats on a great EPG, been waiting a long time for one! I started using it yesterday and apart from the one hour time change it's great. I've noticed a number of channels that are missing EPG listings though (I'm using the EPG for Sky UK here in Ireland). The channels that are missing are below. I've also included same in a text file

cheers good advice on those channels i have sorely missed epg for some eg setanta. also the new sky movies channel is called crime and thriller and not just thriller and there is a hd version of sky movies crime and thriller as well as well if you could add it rytec and co it would be greatly appreciated

Sorry for the delay lads but I've had a busy day! Above is the Working/Not Working list. A few new things have popped up. Setanta Ireland has the wrong EPG - it's showing EPG for Setanta Sports1. Fox News, Clubland TV, Bet and Bet+1 are not working. And Lava is a new channel (formerly RockworldTV). I did a bit of research, forget about MTV Trax, it's not a fully fledged channel. Apparently it's part of MTV's interactive service. Flaunt is also gone, it's now called DanceNationTV and has the same service reference.

We will investigate further on this, thanks for the good explanation.

Also I see you have posted this at 02:50 but my server runs these script between 02 - 04 in the mornings so maybe you can double check today? maybe it's better now.

Have checked everything just there and all is still the same. I have my epg set to download at 07:00 AM every morning, it downloaded fine this morning but all is still the same as I posted yesterday.

Update:
Channels now showing no EPG - Sky Sports 4, PopGirl, PopGirl +1
Fox News has the incorrect EPG, it's showing EPG for Q (music channel)

There are 3 working entries and 1 non-working entry for Sky Sports 4 - none of them have a working EPG. It just says "no schedule" for every day. This is strange as you had the EPG working for this last week.

This is strange because now it is the reverse situation - Setanta Ireland EPG is correct but Setanta Sports1 (1:0:1:D331:962:2:11A0000:0:0:0:) EPG is incorrect and is now showing the EPG of Setanta Ireland??

If you do a service search/rescan you will see that 'flaunt' will change to 'dancenationtv'.

You could try the downloading, and copying the attached files to the etc/epgimport dir of your box.

These will hopefully fix the problems with the missing channels.

Hi willy,
I tried this but it did not work at all. In fact all it did was wipe my entire EPG and I now have no EPG at all.......for any channel. I removed the files from the box and even re-downloaded the provider settings but I still have no EPG at all. Any idea what's happened here? Can you please give advice on how to get my EPG working again, as I'm about to tear my hair out!?

I'd also add that the time between changing pay channels has also noticeably increased

i have no epgimport in /etc

where do i copy rytec channels and sources xml?
