Can I make my DM500 supports HD ?
Is that possible by uploading new PLi image, or I have to purchase DM800 HD?

Some told that with Pli images and using web x_tv we can watch hd channels.
i tried , and i saw very ugly images , that is for them watching hd channels.

That's only for specific HD channels and these channels are not common anymore. For the "new" HD channels you need another tuner, so that's impossible with the 500.

Small tip: If you have a skin that shows the BER (like x-line) you'll see a BER of 65000+ on channels that are DVB-S2 based, even if your signal is (way) above 85%...

most of the HD channels are broadcasted as DVB-S2, the 500 and other Enigma1 + DM7025(+) have only a DVB-S tuner
so to recieve the DVB-S2 channels you need a DVB-S2 tuner inside your box
