Yes but OpenPli has an edited version of 1.5 OE, so I like to ask if is any news about OpenPLi2.0 release date?

And oplenPli is not an eddited version of 1.5 OE. It is simply different as we have our own OE,

oh no, still in my thirties
Hello (my old "young" friend from the sat-industry days !),
Regarding the OE1.6 issue - what are the benefits of OE1.6 over 1.5 ?
I have made images using both methods. But in the final image I find (for example with dm500hd using the same 'experimantal' enigma2) very little difference.
Best regards, pcd.

To the end-user, there is no difference at all.
It's mostly for the developers. Some packages require newer versions of various tools (compilers, parsers etc).

Exactly. Also interested in OE1.5 and OE1.6. The difference is in the construction of image, the final effect is similar .
Big thanks to colleagues for the of PLI Team.

what exactly lead you to this idea? :-)I think oe1.6 will work with smargo and oe1.5 won't.

or
Can we use modified old Makefile?
TheCount 23 Sep 2010
