Look at www.rytec.be there is an enigma1 section with an instruction manual.

It is.

But as all forums, this one is for discussions and questions. doglover is just pointing at a page with instructions.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Never tried it.

I always used Jade3 up to the point that I retired my enigma 1 machine (in september 2010).
However - I had reports that people managed to use it on OpenPli.

If you get data imported - but have holes in the epg listing, then you are using a version of the program which does not coöporate well with our data. In this case give a shout and I will send you a version which does not have this behaviour.

I followed the instructions for jade and installed the file rytec_E1_13e19e23e28_2010013.zip but it corupted the box and it froze.

Any guides for PLI 1.0

rytec_E1_13e19e23e28_2010013.zip is a settting list for 13east Or hotbird, 19 east or astra1 and so on.

You need this: http://www.rytec.be/..._Package.tar.gz

and this: http://www.rytec.be/...instruction.pdf

If the channel mapper crashes your box then you could try edit the file: /var/tuxbox/config/dbepg/e1_UK.dat
manually.

First find the service refs for the channel you want to map:
f.i. BBC2 England: 1:0:1:189E:7FD:2:11A0000:0:0:0: (Use vlc player to find this)

Open this file (DCC wil do) and find the BBC1 entries:

389:1:9=BBC1.uk
1af8:2:802=BBC1.uk
2842:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
1af7:2:802=BBC1.uk
2841:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
189d:2:7fd=BBC1.uk
2873:2:800=BBC1.uk
283e:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
18bb:2:7fd=BBC1.uk
2874:2:800=BBC1.uk
1915:2:7ff=BBC1.uk
2871:2:800=BBC1.uk
2870:2:800=BBC1.uk
2872:2:800=BBC1.uk
190b:2:7ff=BBC1.uk
286f:2:800=BBC1.uk
283d:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
2840:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
283f:2:7fe=BBC1.uk
38a:1:9=BBC2.uk
189e:2:7fd=BBC2.uk
1920:2:7ff=BBC2.uk
1916:2:7ff=BBC2.uk
190c:2:7ff=BBC2.uk

find the entry which matches your service ref: Here for BBC2 in this example it is the second entry 189e:2:7fd=BBC2.uk

Delete all other entries for this channel. Save the file. And perform a new import.

Good luck.
