Where is the 'autobackup' plugin? There is no more under /Downloadable plugins/pli...

It has been moved to "extensions", now that it's an E2OpenPlugins plugin.

I tried to install it today (and it's located in pli folder) but i get the "404 not found" message. What should I do to install this plugin? I need it to update kernel and firmware on my Vu+ Duo.

Depends on from which version you want to install it, is it a version prior 2.1, thus 2.0 or 1.0, it isn't available anymore, the feeds for these versions aren't maintained any more.

If you using version 2.1 then you can find it under extensions not under pli.

In information/about I see this - Enigma: Jul 24 2011, Image Oct 7 2011. I don't know how to see the exact version.

What is the download URL you see? If you see 2.0 in the URL then it's old and shall not work

Sorry, but I don't know where to see the URL. What I see is in plugins/pli - autobackup (1.0+git72)

I don't understand how I don't have the latest firmware, because I was doing the online update regularly.

If online download and install of autobackup is not possible for me, can you please direct me how to install it manually. I don't have the time to reinstall everything manually.

You can try to install this version from today's feed, maybe it will work.

Place it on an USB-stick and insert it, wait a while and follow the instructions to install it.

Thank you very much! This has worked like a charm, and I already made an autoinstall backup! Now I will install Open PLi 2.1 and new bootloader to see how it works. Thanks again!
