Plugin settings,system time (Transponder/Internet).
Menu -> Setup -> System -> System Time
If you have chosen the time from the Internet, be sure to enable receipt of NTP time at system startup.

The plugin is working very good, Thanks!
Maybe you can add the timezone settings in menu>settings in this plugin to make it an all-in-one?
Also I think that this plugin must be integrated in Openpli image..

And what to do with the default settings PLi(Timezone)?
Get two menus with the same settings...

My suggestion was to make one setting in menu for time settings (Pli Timezone+System Time plugin).

My suggestion was to make one setting in menu for time settings (Pli Timezone+System Time plugin).

That will never happen.
On the standart PLi software for sure :D .

anyway original `Timezone` menu section is far from optimal,
choose from list like `Language` section will be much easyer than press left-right and read every line
i can gues it is built that way just because DMMs developers have never visit that section

Just a personal comment of mine:

It is nice that you still use the dvbdate binary that I created in 2009 in my DVBTime Plugin ipk, and it is funny that it still works and is used for the same purpose now in the 4th Plugin already., so you are excused for not giving any credit :-)

But as there are now much newer versions available in the meantime, it is a little bit strange that nobody undertakes the 'extremely difficult' task to compile a new one.

The sources are part of the dvb-apps package you find for example already compiled for mipsel in the Debian Distribution for checking out.

New versions dvbdate require additional libraries, that's the whole reason.

static linking was inventend in the late 60s :-)

But you are right, the binary will not get smaller due to this.

Would it be possible to add more values to Sync NTP,  24 and 48 hours ?

I think it's not necessary to sync so many times per day, once a day is enough..

Enigma is getting old....
