there is a plugin named "3G Modem Manager" for vuplus models in

i think it's a good idea to have it for Open PLi (all models)
is it possible ?

Wvdial I think is not used anymore and replaced by ofono.
I cannot find wvdial anymore in new development.
Maybe we get it working with ofono.
In attachment packages for xtrend model which are probably needed,

i think we should wait for Erik and his reply
i know we can install it manually but the best thing is adding this plugin and all needed dependencies to Open PLi , it will be for the first time that an e2 image supports 3G for all models
also my previous question :
does Open PLi conclude these kernel modules :
kernel-module-block2mtd
kernel-module-loop
kernel-module-unionfs
for all supported STBs ?
if the answer is no would you please add them to Open PLi ?
i don't mean to integrate this modules in images i mean support them for all models so we can install them with online servers

Better to add when it's needed.
I know you have seen this on opendreambox git but why is it needed for openpli. (Second time)
I think they make this virtual mtd to store the very large closed source webbrowser solution.
The webbrowser of dmm is not available for openpli so I think no need to add this packages.

help me, is it possible to run a USB 3G modem on OpenPLi-2.1 beta
i am manual installed plugin mopedus, but that is not working ... in the other image everything is OK
may be more what packages to install?
