yes, and the folders is
/vuplus/solo/boot_cfe_auto.jffs2
/vuplus/solo/kernel_cfe_auto.bin
/vuplus/solo/root_cfe_auto.jffs2

you must extract the folder to vuplus
after that the 3 folders you gave here will be inthere
then put your usb with box off
then turn the box back on and look on display what it says and follow those instuctions
with the uno is to pusch on ch- then it will flash

there is no display on a VU+ Solo, just 2 LEDs, one red and one green

I've tried keeping ( power or ch- or vol- ) down, pressing with 1 sec between, and tried 5/10/15 sec after power on

ps: the USB pin, have been used in a VU + Uno, where yes, it's just pressing ch-

How to upgrade SOLO via USB memory stick

In USB memory stick,
make \\vuplus\solo\ folder and copy the following 3 files to that location

1) root_cfe_auto.jffs2
2) kernel_cfe_auto.bin
3) boot_cfe_auto.jffs2
Insert USB Memory stick into the front USB socket and then Power Off and Power On again.
After power-on, VuPlus SOLO automatically start upgrade using the files in the USB memory stick.
When upgrade is finished, the GREEN LED on front side blinks continuously.
Remove the memory stick and power off and on again.

Also there is bootloader update http://www2.vuplus.c...ate-vu-solo-cfe which is required for 3.1.1 kernel images (incl. openpli)

it will not eat the USB stick whatever I'm doing, ( I've tried on 2 Solo and 1 Duo )

I installed version 2.1 by using 0-modem and a NFI file, it works
