It says google newsviewer and the attachments are screengrabber... And even here the naming is incorrect... it should start with enigma-extensions (also inside the IPK!!!).

I made a tiny rss reader for my private use, the code is mostly taken from your plugin, feeds.xml updated ( especially TV Spielfilm.de and kicker.de for german users), FHD suitable, perhaps someone finds it useful, if you don´t mind I could upload it here

ok, copy to ~Plugins/Extensions (unzipped), restart enigma2, if you want to put your own feeds, just edit feeds.xml

Why the screenshots are not available ?

 

I want to see what it looks like, but I do not want to install it in a set top box .

Old thread i know but more and more feeds are ending with /feed at the end of the link and can't be read, for example this one  :

http://korben.info/feed

Plugin result :

sorry, no feeds available

Is there any fix ?

the error is misleading, console log says

HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

could something to do with ssl certificate, I tried to fix it, didn´t succeed, the same with

https://slobodnadalm...ed/category/119

I improved the plugin a bit, now the most feeds are working, rss 2.0 as well, the code is both for py2/py3, tested only on py2, thumb nails would be nice if someone can add it
