Hello there.
I’ve upgraded to the latest openPLi image (14/9/2012) and when i try to watch through my computer with VLC (streaming from dreambox 7020 to my computer)
the video breaks up constantly.

Anyone else is experiencing that?
I used to watch like that with no problems!

I have the same problem on my DM8000 (31.08 build, older too; latest VLC on win7 x64, but browser & VLC in use are 32 bit).

The only workaround is to stop and restart the streaming. It plays smoothly then.

Regards.

it must be problem somewhere in your net or so... i am using streaming from 7020s to E2 and all works well... and it is more sensitive than VLC.
Try in VLC to messages ( with 0 or 2 ) and you will see.

How do you restart streaming? I have this issue on DM8000-OpenPli3 too. It's definitely streaming issue. I didn’t have this issue on opendreambox-2.0.0

@ts, do you use zapstream on port 31344? Or the less advanced streamts at 31339?
Do you stream over wired lan or wifi?
Do you stream HD channels? Although I don't know if that's possible with a 7020.

I'm closing the VLC application as soon as it starts playing (with problems) and then click the same streaming icon again... this time VLC plays smoothly somehow...

I use streaming on dm8000 on port 8001 over wired lan. Is there anyway i can use streamproxy as it is in OE images? How do i stop enigma2 listening 8001?
