I have a DM7000 and I bought small silver remote controller for DM500. Reason is simple, old remote controller doesn't work very well, and new cost around 30-40$.
The small DM500 silver remote cost only 4,5$ and it works.

Anyway, I want to reconfigure a few buttons, for example HELP <-> EXIT etc... Is it possible to do that with latest OpenPLI on DM7000?
Is there any .xml file to change it?

Thank you for help.

I never had a 7000, but I'd guess... Copy /share/tuxbox/enigma/resources/rcdm5xxx.xml (or if one sounds better suited for 7000...) to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/resources/ & edit there, enigma restarts required for changes to take effect...

Is it possible with other receivers as my ET9000? I should want to change the sound volume of the receiver to the sound volume of the TV. Is it easy to do it?

Thank you :) .

that's not what this topic is about.
For what you want, have a look at HDMI CEC and volume key forwarding.
(or perhaps your remote supports volume punch through, not sure. Please ask in a new topic)

Sorry, I don't understand English very well and I thought dove wanted to change the function of some keys of his remote control and hemispherical responded it was possible, what I want.

For the HDMI CEC and volume key forwarding, I tried it some days ago, but I haven't any result. You can see my question here :

Adjusting the DB'S keymap just effects the Dreambox, I don't think it can effect TV controls like the TV's volume, that would require the DB passing CEC to the TV as Peter mentioned. I've never used CEC so I can't help, sorry...

Ok. Since OpenPli 3.0, we have a menu to modify CEC parameters but I haven't found what does the volume parameter. I put it on yes but nothing works.

For the remote control keys, I have entered the TV code in my receiver remote control and I can use it (ET9000) when I press the TV key to command the TV. Thus, I thought that it was possible to use the volume keys even if I am on the receiver commands and not only when I am on the TV commands.

What you want is 'volume punch through'. Not sure whether the et9k remote supports that. Does your manual mention this?

I don't remember what there is in the manual even if it's very light but on the ET9000 remote control, I have keys to choice to command the ET9000, a TV (I have to enter my TV code), a recorder... Thus, as I've seen higher the dove's thread, I said myself "Why not me?" :) .

Thank you for your reply, I found this file rclargesilver.xml
in mentioned above path:

/share/tuxbox/enigma/resources/

I edited this lines (change code value 52 <--> 54) and it works ;).

<key name="exit" code="54" picture="key.33" />
<key name="help" code="52" picture="key.23" />

Thanks again.
